Grubbers is a single-player, turn-based strategy game. Turns consist of bugs being played on a 6x6 game board and moved around to gather randomly generated food and resources. The Grubbers expert will strategically position his/her bugs on the board to provide the best chance to get resources and/or prevent opponent bugs from getting them. Modifiers can also be played to strengthen friendly bugs or weaken opponent bugs. Watch out for the birds who wander the board eating bugs and destroying carefully planned strategies.

Grubbers offers a Quick Play mode that lets users jump right into the action or a Progressive Play mode where goals are completed to unlock new levels. Most of the images were hand-drawn and animated to give Critters a realistic look that is both unique and beautiful. Grubbers!

Note: As Grubbers gets on in years, it seems to be less compatible with newer versions of Windows, so if it whacks out on you, don't say we didn't warn you.
